USA TODAY BESTSELLER • In the debut of a lovely comfy mystery collection, Sarah Fox introduces a fascinating new heroine who unearths herself in a sticky situation: stacking pancakes, pouring coffee, and investigating homicide.

Bonus content material: includes unique recipes stimulated by using the Flip Side Pancake House menu!

When Marley McKinney’s getting old cousin, Jimmy, is hospitalized with pneumonia, she is of the same opinion to help run his pancake residence at the same time as he recovers. With its rustic interior and syrupy heady scent, the Flip Side Pancake House is simply as she pictured it and the surly chef is a wizard with crêpes. Marley expects to spend a leisurely week or in Wildwood Cove, the old fashioned, coastal network wherein she used to spend her summers, however then Cousin Jimmy is discovered murdered, sprawled on the rocks under a nearby cliff.

After she stumbles across proof of stolen items in Jimmy’s workshop, Marley is determined to discover what’s sincerely going on inside the no longer-so-quiet town of Wildwood Cove. With help from her formative years overwhelm and her adopted cat, Flapjack, Marley sinks her tooth into the research. But if she’s now not careful, she’s going to get burned by a killer who’s best interested by serving up hassle.

Praise for The Crêpes of Wrath

“A very lovable start to a new comfortable thriller series . . . The pink herrings are savory sufficient to be served as one of the dinner options in stunning Wildwood Cove.” Reading Reality

“I loved each moment of this mystery from start to finish, and right now found myself engrossed in Wildwood Cove residing. It’s one of these secure locales that’s a individual itself.” Melissa’s Mochas, Mysteries

I got to read this book for free for my honest review from random house through Houseparty and netgalley. I had never read a Sarah Fox book before so I didn't know what to expect but I wound up really enjoying this book. She has a great writing style and the plot was quite good. It moved at good pace so it really held my attention and I could wait to get to the end to have to see the murder solved. I hope there will be more books in this series and I can't wait to read another Sarah Fox book. #RHMysteryPack #Sponsored

I received this book for free from Chatterbox in exchange for an honest review. I love to read, especially mysteries/intrigue. This book was a quick and easy read (think beach book) but was a little less than captivating. It started a little slow but picked up in the middle. However, I felt it was a bit over the top in terms of circumstances happening to the main character. It reminded me of the old Murder She Wrote episodes I watched with my grandma. The main character seems to have bad luck everywhere she goes. All in all, not the worst book I ever read but not one I will read again. Oh, and I was not impressed by the title. If I had not been given this book to read the title would never have enticed me to buy it.

I received a free copy from Chatterbox and received a free Chat Pack. This is the first book I have read by Sarah Fox. I thought it was good but not excellent. The main character, Marley, takes a leave of absence from her job and moves in with her cousin,Jimmy, to run his restaurant while he is ill. Things take a drastic turn when her cousin is murdered. Not only is she left with the responsibility of the restaurant, but she also takes it upon herself to solve Jimmy's murder. My biggest issue with the story is that Marley seemed like the main character in a bad horror movie. She constantly put herself in danger. Overall the book was a good read.
  • Killer Crepes, or something else?

I couldn't resist asking for this book because of the title. It's too cute, and indeed, someone felt that it was to die for. Working in a pancake house isn't the dream job for most people. Marley McKinney had not had that on her to-do list, but her cousin Jimmy got sick. That landed her in in the middle of the Flip Side Pancake House, and, murder! Now Jimmy is dead, and someone is up to no good at all. Someone, who couldn't be Jimmy, put stollen property on Jimmy's place. What's a legal assistant who is flipping pancakes for a now deceased cousin to do? She can't go home with two unsolved mysteries can she? This book was cute! It also has lots of food, and recipes! It will make you hungry if you aren't careful. I liked Wildwood Cove and the folks there will probably develop more with time, in the sequels. My copy came from Net Galley in exchange for my honest review and nothing more.
  • You'll flip over this pancake mystery!
    By Madlindz
This book is everything a cozy mystery should be - small town, romance, a suprise ending. Marley is living in Seattle , working her life away, when her cousin Jimmy invites her to his small town to help run his pancake house, The Flip Side, while he is stuck in the hospital. Marley is enjoying the easy going life in a small beach town...until she finds her cousin Jimmy, dead, on a rock cliff. You'll love following Marley's amateur sleuthing as she gets to the bottom of her cousin's death, as well as discovering whether or not big city living is where she's meant to be. I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 because there were parts that were a little slow moving, and I wasn't completely rooting for Marley. Other than that, classic cozy mystery material right here.

This is a great first book in a new series. It was a very easy and interesting cozy mystery!! The plot was very well developed and the story keeps you hooked. I was sad to say goodbye to these characters I had grown to love! I can't wait to read the next book in the series and see what happens next for Marley! As an awesome bonus, some yummy recipes are included at the end!! If you like cozy mysteries that keep you guessing with some innocent romance thrown in, then this is your book!! I was provided with an advanced copy of this book as part of a chat pack with Chatterbox in exchange for my honest review.
